Fabrizio Vella Bianco Organico

This organic Sicilian wine is produced by Fabrizio Vella, a passionate winemaker living and working on the Mediterranean island. The native Cataratto is hand harvested slightly early from high elevation vineyards with naturally limited yields. The first pressing is fermented in acacia wooden barrels before second pressing and fermentation in stainless steel for 14 days with malolactic fermentation.
This brings a natural wine that has a complex nose of citrus fruit, lemon zest and citrus blossoms along with hint of tropical fruits, herbs and sweet spices. Fresh, crisp and lovely minerality on the finish. Try with chickpea soup, light pastas such as Sicilian Asciutta and broccoli.
